Ferrari CEO remains vague on Adrian Newey rumors

Adrian Newey is considered to be perhaps the best designer in F1 history. it is not surprising to see rumors emerge regarding the 65-year-old’s next destination. Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur reportedly met Newey in London before the Miami GP. Moreover, it is believed that Maranello is willing to offer the aero genius a lucrative contract for next season.

However, both parties have not commented on such speculation. Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna mentioned Adrian Newey in the company’s first quarter report. He is one of our customers... Many things are written in the newspapers. Benedetto Vigna stated, as reported by FormulaPassion.it

Adrian Newey has not disclosed his future plans at the moment. However, the 65-year-old seems to be interested in taking time off the grid. As such, the aero genius might not be looking for a new challenge in Formula 1. Although, anything can happen in the pinnacle of motorsport and it would not be surprising to see Newey switch to Maranello in the future.
